It's been a long time since I've been active. I moved in to a sweet apartment. I got a job at a shoe store. I lost two cats. I got a new cat. I got divorced. I added a graphic design minor to my degree (which I might finally finish this year). I have an amazing boyfriend. And in about a month, I will be turning 30. So... yeah. Lots of stuff going on. I'm going to spend more time on my art. I need to, and I want to.

New year, new journal, I suppose. As of January 12th, I will be in Seattle. After that, well, who knows? I'm not moving to Seattle because of the life I will have there, but rather because of the life I know I don't want here. It sounds flimsy, but usually the intuition kicks in if something is a bad idea, and I haven't heard anything. I am going to try my best to make this a year that makes my happiness a priority. School doesn't make me happy, but I am not quitting, so I intend to work hard and get it over with. Art and creative endeavors are what I refuse to neglect, because it is who I am. When I look for work, I want to be sure I am va
